Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. The following is a legal agreement between you (“Client”) and Christopher Reynolds (Photographer/Owner of Art of You Portrait Studios).

WHAT WE DO

Art of You Portrait Studios is a resource through which you may obtain high-quality portrait photography services.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Art of You Portrait Studios, your photos will NEVER be shared without your explicit permission; this includes a completed Comfort Level Questionnaire and a signed Image Release. We respect your privacy choices and keep all client information anonymous. We NEVER share the names of our clients unless they specifically request to be tagged on social media. Our clients have varying preferences regarding their images - some allow us complete discretion, while others may choose specific photos for posting, including faceless pictures for our portfolio. We honor all levels of privacy and publish images only as per the client's comfort, including any time-specific restrictions.

Art of You Portrait Studios is dedicated to protecting your online privacy. The personal and payment information provided by you is exclusively used by us and will not be shared with any third parties, except for direct purchases through affiliate links.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Due to the custom nature of our portrait sessions, we do not photograph individuals under the legal age of 18 without a legal guardian present. No exceptions. A valid ID is required for age verification at the photo session, and we reserve the right to refuse service without proof of age.

COPYRIGHT

Photographers are protected under the Copyright Act, which grants exclusive rights to reproduce their photographs. It is illegal to copy, edit, alter, or reproduce these photographs without our permission. Violations include making illegal copies, scanning, printing from home, or downloading from our website. We aim to maintain control over the print quality, finishes, and presentation to ensure the highest image quality and uphold our reputation for superior portrait presentations.

SESSION RETAINER

A non-refundable retainer fee is required for all portrait sessions. This retainer fee will be liquidated as damages in the event of cancellation or breach of contract by the Client. No date is reserved until a retainer is received.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that unexpected delays can occur. If you need to cancel your appointment, we request at least a 48-hour notice. Cancellations or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance will incur a fee equal to the session booking fee. Late arrivals over 15 minutes may not be accommodated, or the session time may be reduced accordingly. Weather-related cancellations will be communicated via email, with options to reschedule. In genuine emergencies, the cancellation fee will be credited towards the rescheduled session.

Christopher Reynolds is not responsible for the contents, products, or services of affiliate sites and does not guarantee their quality. Users bear all risks associated with the use of these links.

STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY

Stock photography may be used on the Site under license from the respective providers.

CREATIVE LICENSE

Images are edited at the Photographer’s discretion, and not all images shot may be included in your final selection. The Photographer reserves the right to edit and release only those deemed professional in quality and artistic standards.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LICENSE

Christopher Reynolds owns all intellectual property on the Site, including text, logos, images, trademarks, and other protected elements, except those licensed from others. Users are granted no rights to any Intellectual Property except as explicitly stated herein.

By using the Site and providing personal information, you authorize Christopher Reynolds to contact you via email, telephone, or other provided methods with information about specials, new products, and services. RETURN/REFUND POLICY

Due to the custom nature of our work, no products, including digital files, will be released until full payment is received. All sales are final, with no refunds or returns under any circumstances.

NO WARRANTIES

Christopher Reynolds provides no warranties, explicit or implied. Users assume all risks associated with the use of the Site, materials, or products. Christopher Reynolds is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the website, materials, or products.

CAMERA POLICY

Personal cameras and cell phones are not permitted during sessions to protect the artistic integrity of the work.

GOVERNING LAW; VENUE

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Texas. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Austin, TX. Christopher Reynolds reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
